The 1volcano debut tape features seven songs inspired by bossa nova as a genre and as an aesthetic, featuring hip-hop beat making elements, scenic sound design, storylike structures and soothing orchestral samples.

It’s a genre I can only describe as.. lavanova.

░W░h░e░r░e░ ░i░s░ ░l░a░v░a░n░o░v░a░?░

This tape is inspired by the fact that my friend Emerald and I have been listening to bossa nova whilst building an island on a Minecraft world called Lava Falls. You’ll find these tracks in a lot of YouTube videos I’ve made about it!

These are the last seven tracks I have produced after a lengthy break from music projects.. The tape began as an ambient music idea and blossomed into a passion project before it ended up as a new direction for a new alias.
